Buy A Big Brand Or Not
Brands like Metabo offer great quality like some of the major brands and get some fantastic reviews but is it worth buying from them? When the price level is the same it is hard to justify the lesser known brands like Metabo as the they do not have the network in the UK like Dewalt or Makita. If you are looking for a fast service and reliability in a working environment then I would always prefer to stay in with the major brands safe in the knowledge that if there is a problem it will be dealt with. On the other hand it is worth giving the smaller brands a go or they will never be able to build the large network that they need. Maybe of your lively hood or project are not dependant on the mitre saw then it might be a good time to go and try a brand you have not considered before.
Either way it is a personal choice, there is no doubt that some of the smaller brands offer great quality saws that work well and some are brilliant value but when they are on a level in terms of price the choice gets tougher.
Across The Building Spectrum
Metabo UK spend a lot of time analysing the building trade and the different areas that require unique tool sets to speed up the process and get a finish that is absolute top quality. They specialise in all phases of the construction game from demolition, preparation and construction providing tools for inside jobs and outside landscaping jobs.
By analysing each part of the construction process the company can quickly identify any areas that need specialist tools and can improve existing ranges of tools for the specialist jobs. Generic tools are great for most people but if you specialise in a very particular type of work like dry wall construction then specific tools are important.
If you work in a very specific trade it could well be worth checking out the Metabo site for some pretty unusual and carefully thought out tools.
The German brand has many decades of experience in producing very high quality power tools to the construction industry and prides itself on the robustness of its tools. Back in the 1920’s the company set out to build an engineering firm that would produce well engineered high quality tools and it has stuck to that ethos.
After its humble beginnings the company moved into producing power tools in the fifties and the range has grown and grown. The products are now used all over the world.
German engineering companies have produced some brilliant products that have set the standard in the markets and Metabo contribute to pushing the standards of power tools up and up on an ongoing basis. Even though the brand is not a household name like some of the others we have mentioned it has a fantastic reputation amongst the hardest users of mitre saws.
